Agreement to terms
By using Xrandom, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
What Xrandom is
Xrandom provides free, browser-based random generator tools for entertainment, productivity, education, and everyday decision-making. The tools are provided "as is," without any account or sign-up required.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Xrandom to violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or scrape the site in a way that degrades service for others.
- Don't use any tool's output (such as the Test Payment Card Picker) in a way inconsistent with its documented, intended purpose.
- Don't misrepresent Xrandom-generated content as coming from an official, licensed, or regulated source (for example, presenting a lottery quick-pick as an official draw result).
No warranty on outcomes
Xrandom's tools are built for genuine statistical fairness using cryptographically secure randomness, but we make no guarantee about outcomes — including that a lottery quick-pick will win, that a generated password is unbreakable, or that any tool's output is fit for a specific critical purpose (legal, medical, financial, or safety-related decisions). Use good judgment, especially for anything with real-world stakes.
Tools like the Test Payment Card Picker return only officially published, sandbox-only test data — they cannot be used to make real purchases and carry no warranty of usefulness outside of testing contexts.
Intellectual property
The Xrandom site design, code, and text are owned by Xrandom unless otherwise noted. Content you generate using the tools (a shuffled list, a generated password, a random name) is yours to use freely — we claim no ownership over your generated results.
Third-party services and advertising
Xrandom may display advertising served by Google AdSense and use Google Analytics or similar services. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Xrandom and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any generated output. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Changes to the service
We may add, remove, or modify tools and features at any time without prior notice, since Xrandom is an actively evolving project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Xrandom's operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
